I am so excited to actually begin this! You just wouldn't believe how many times I have sat down to actually begin this blog. Deciding how to start and what to say is not as easy as you might think. I am never short of words that is for sure so struggling for something to say was well... new to me. I decided the best way to start is just to really pretend that you and I are sitting down for coffee at one of my most favorite coffee shops and that you and I have been friends for years and years and years. Sound good?
I am 37 years old. A mother to a 13 year old daughter and a brand new baby boy. I have the most amazing husband in the world. He is truly my best friend. We've been married for 14 years and have a great groove that we have settled into. Sure it takes years to get to that point but when you do, it is very good.
Let's see... What makes me tick? I love being around people that challenge me. My favorite people are ones that are excited most days just to be living. I love people that see the cup half full. If you are negative and a Debbie Downer, I have no interest.
I love decorating and design. I love my home. It is a constant work in progress but I am just not satisfied with ordinary. I hate to have what everyone else has. I like one of a kind things. I believe that taste has nothing to do with money. You either have it or you don't. I believe in taking care of myself and my body because it changes who you are and what you put out into the world. I can be pretty extreme and can drive my family crazy at times. I'm definitely a type A personality. When everyone else is sleeping in, I am up starting my day.
I can't wait to share my life and hope that you can find something of value here. Decorating, Design, Fashion, Fitness, Spirituality... I always have something to say...
